I think I figured it out: the number of brilliance points you earn each level (based on my keeping track over the last 30 levels or so) is equal to 4x-6, where x is the number of words in the puzzle. Bonus words do not count towards brilliance points the way they do towards star points during tournaments. And when there's an extra coin word (or whatever they're called), those words *do* count as part of the puzzle, because you have to find them to get past the level.

So yeah, a 9-word puzzle is 30 brilliance points, a 10-word puzzle is 34 brilliance points, an 11-word puzzle is 38 brilliance points, etc.

rjrnj1, my equation doesn't match up with your numbers at all, so maybe the equation changes when you get to higher levels? I'm only on level 375. *shrugs*
