Doofus: when you say that people fun is doing away with their user voice forums, do you like this one that we are using now? Would that mean that we would only be able to communicate within a team and not ask questions and learn how things work? Or do you mean some other forum?

At the beginning of the last season, a lot of players had “ghost” crowns during or before the first Tournament of the season (/quarter.). I’m just assuming that this is the same thing. There was some discussion about it but that was obviously about three months ago and I’m not digging back to find it.

Tippytoes: If somebody joins during the tournament, but they were not previously in a different team, then their points do count to the team they joined, I think. I think the non-counting points is only if they switch teams.

Hi Skippy: there are a lot of good teams out there. But if there are four of you, you could consider joining YCHEATS, which currently has about 28 with an almost 100% participation rate and does very well on our weekend tournaments, last two weekends we got over 100K And we have been number one for at least the last four weeks.. Requirements are similar to many other teams, have “chat “ on, check in by chat, participate in team discussions regarding things like starting time, give helps, Play in tournaments, Have fun, and no cheating.

Regarding peoples’ names showing up on these fora:
I changed my name from something else.
I went to a forum to make a comment. My old comments still had my old name, had not changed.
When I wanted to make a comment with my NEW name, The field to enter my name defaulted to my old one, but I changed it to my new one!

To Gail S: when you say “change your name“ do you mean your nickname? To do that you can either click on your icon in the lower left corner of your main screen where you can click on your icon in your “my team“ list. You can change it frequently if I understand correctly. And it doesn’t change anything underlying.

Contact support. Before you quit the game due to memory usage, or switch to a new phone/device, write down your game level, the number of brilliance points, the number of coins, the number of different types of hints, and what kind of crown you have. Then contact support. It might take a while, but I eventually got everything back that I remembered to ask for.

Libbie: If you go to many of the other discussion forums, like “teams looking for players” and “players looking for teams” you will see many many many teams advertising for players. You can check out the teams and see what their requirements are etc., and then apply to join if you are at the required game level and brilliance level. Good luck.

I assume you were talking about on the team private chat space, not on these fora. I don’t think you can delete. I think you can only wait until the chats fill your available space and move on out into the ether. I have seen a comment from someone on another team about posting repetitive meaningless small comments to “clear out” the previous chat thread.
If you were talking about discussion fora Like this one, then I have seen notices where Individual messages were deleted, that might have to go through the peoplefun support, I don’t know. -

Mee: this is a discussion forum for the YCHEAT team. The SUPPORT group will NOT be reading it. You can send a message to SUPPORT with questions/ concerns. I think there’s also a Facebook way- but I don’t use FB so not sure. Also, my understanding is that some people with an older version of the game can play off-line, then when they go back online all the points they’ve accumulated in the meantime suddenly register at once. So it can look like cheating but isn’t (although quite distressing if you were the one who has passed.) Many other posts on the subject in other fora.

Also Bill, there has been a lot of discussion about that in some of the other chat forum, for instance the general one. You probably have to scroll back a whole lot, but someone did pole people to ask about their playing rates. And some people are really really fast. There’s also a semifacetious one aboutTesting people on the same puzzle over and over, I don’t know if that was serious. Personally, I probably run 400, maximal 500 per hour. When I don’t have other interruptions, which is seldom.

Hi Bluf: Not sure if you are joking? But if you are serious about joining team YCHEAT then we are almost full but if you have the required brilliance just put in a request to join. Remember, must participate in the chat so you are “in” on any team decisions. So make sure your chat feature is “on”. Also, I highly recommend that absolutely everybody read the post by Tippyries about 10 ways to not get booted off a team; You can find that by searching the discussion forum for “Booted”.

Good morning MATT: I wasn’t going to “get into“ this but… You asked to come in, we lowered the barriers for you, you joined somebody else. Not sure why you got kicked, sorry about that. May I suggest that there are hundreds and hundreds of teams out there. Find one that gives lots of “help” and play until you have enough brilliance points, and stay with them if they are a good team, otherwise if they don’t match your needs/interest, then request to join this one if you are still interested? If you go to the search for teams, put in not so random words like “join” or your own name, or your favorite animal, or “winners” and under each term you find lots of teams with that name, many of them need players. However, if you each individually have the required brilliance points, you really shouldn’t have to ask, you should just individually request admittance, But it would probably be useful to know your “player names” So the leader recognizes them when they request. Team rules:
Must have Settings for “team Chat” on and check on team chat so can be aware of team decisions (People have been kicked for being unavailable)

Hi Dawn again: I left a message for our leader. Also be aware that if you change teams in the middle of a tournament, your points will not count for either team! So if we can’t get you in now, and you join someplace else, you should stay there for the whole weekend at the very least. We are a very friendly team, easy to work with, and give lots of helps

I must stress that you must have the team chat option “on” on your Settings, so that you can join the team to discuss things like starting time. You also must participate in giving helps. Yes, if you put that into the team search you will find us. I think it means, why should you cheat? Just play your best! We ask team members to have their settings set so that “team Chat“ is on and check in occasionally. Also, no slackers, no cheating, please help, but don’t give up your life!

Gary: In the middle of my screen I have from top to bottom: brilliance points, game level, “daily puzzle”, and a shield.
The lowest, the shield, is the entry to team games. If you don’t have that, then you should probably consult SUPPORT again.
In any case, I played by myself for a long time, including in the tournaments, and really enjoyed it. Benefits of team are: 1. Chat (Not all teams do much, None at all if you turn “team Chat” off in the “Settings”). 2. Team members can help you get hints (not all teams really help). 3. Additional coins if your team wins. Sounds like you were in a team before, so you probably know this. I have to say, I really don’t have any other things that I am knowledgeable enough to help you with. You just need to go to your game (not this support forum) and Tap/ click on the team shield or join- team icon then search for our name and tap/click join (?or the team info button - I can’t look while typing so doing this from memory) or might be “request”. As to getting words right, well I just keep trying combinations until they either fit the puzzle or are counted as bonus words ( and the bonus words bring “coins” !). And we ask our teammates for helps too.

Red mountain pass/Gary: I did not entirely parse what you said before. Maybe voice recognition errors (e.g., here got purse and parts for parse!). Maybe as “anonymous” you could do better? Two red Mountain Pass (may I say RMP?) I have no idea about the voice problems. Are you trying to use voice controls for this game? I have no idea. Voice issue should not otherwise give you any problem with finding the team and requesting admission. Are you pushing the little shield shaped icon that is underneath your name on the field where you can go to the next level of game? You probably need to contact user support

To red mountain pass: Unless you don’t have enough points, it should be easy enough to join. Go to “teams” then search for “YCHEAT” then click the button for “join”. Then you should see either a “request“ button or a “join“ button that you should be able to push. If you don’t have enough points, but you think you can play with us anyway, let me know on this forum and I will let the team leader know. Team leader seems to be having problems posting on this forum. I will try to be diligent about checking back for posts.

To YCHEAT: I had more than 50k Points, but lost everything when I had to restart due to memory usage. This past weekend I added more than 10k points and earned more than 6500 stars (Not that I can do that well every weekend!). I am looking for a team where everybody plays and helps almost all the time, so 4-5 people don’t carry the whole burden. Totally agree with no cheating.

Support does not read these discussion fora (even tho they are titled feedback). For that you need to send a message to support. Personally I got great help from them in restoring points etc tho it took a few weeks overall. Good luck.

To the writers below: even though this is part of the “feedback forum” it is actually only a chat and complain set of fora; I don’t think the Wordscapes/PeopleFun people actually monitor this. If you really want questions from the support team, use the “send us a message” option. Good luck, I have found them helpful, but it may take a while.

Contact the support people. If you know what your level was, how many Crownpoint you had, how many coins you had, how many hints you had, they could help restore that for you. Even though this is called “support form” this is only for discussion, and the support team is probably not reading this.

Not sure when you wrote this! Make sure you make a note of all the various levels and coins and game level employees points you have. There may be a way to synchronize, I don’t know. If that doesn’t work, then when you reload the game on your new device, contact support, not this discussion forum! Support people have been helpful.

Had to delete the app and then reload. At this time the memory use is much better. Had to contact the support group to get my points and level etc. back. So make a note of what they are if you’re going to delete.

If you mean with your team, then the support button that looks like a wheel in the upper left-hand corner of the field has control options like “music on” and “chat on” many many teams require Chat to be on. If you mean a discussion in this forum, then simply find a topic you are interested in, and make your comments. Or start a new forum for a topic of your interest. Hope this helps.

To the people below: contact support, not the discussion forum. The support people can restore some if not all of your levels, settings, coins, helps, if you remember what they were. This happened to me a couple months ago, it took a while but eventually things were fixed. If you know you need to reload the game, before you do it, I suggest sending a note to The support group, and write down all of your various numbers, game levels, coins, etc. etc.
